Zardari seeks Islamic conference over Yemen crisis

KARACHI: Co-chairperson Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday insisted upon the government to call Islamic conference in the country to discuss Yemen situation, ARY news reported.

There is no way out of any conflict in democracy other than dialogue, he said while addressing a news conference at Bilawal House Karachi.

Zardari demanded that all political parties must be taken into confidence on Yemen crisis. He said PPP wanted rifts among Muslim countries should be eradicated.

Responding to a query about Bilawal Bhutto, he said Bilawal’s grooming was under way in London. We will bring him to the ground after once his training his completed, added Zardari.

“The statement of Defence Minister Khwaja Asif’s statement on Saudi’s request for Paksitan support was inadequate,” he added.

He said it was not easy for Pakistan to stay away from developing situation of Yemen.

He was of the view that ‘black sheeps’ should be thrown out of every political party. However, the former president used the term ‘ganday anday’ to refer those malcontents within the parties.

People’s Party also do have ganday anday, he underlined.
