They exchanged views ongoing political turmoil and overall situation of the country. They agreed that both – the government and opposition protesting forces – should pursue dialogue to break the deadlock.
They said both the sides should refrain from any move that may plunge country into anarchy and chaos. Zardari hailed the efforts of the MQM chief for his believe in resolution of issues through negotiations.
Earlier, the former interior minister Rehman Malik had also contacted Altaf and discussed the current political scenario.
