Zardari vows to oppose ‘unjust’ use of military courts

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) leaders Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhary Pervez Elahi on Sunday called on former president Asif Ali Zardari and discussed views over military courts, ARY News reported.

The meeting, which took place at Bilawal House Lahore, between Chaudhary brothers and Zardari discussed downstream effects of military courts.

During the meeting, Zardari said terrorists could not be given free-hand, and their elimination was a national requirement. Though, he said, “We won’t let military courts to be used unjustly.”

The country is currently going through critical time, hence everyone should go beyond personal attacks in better interest of Pakistan.
