Zayn Malik loses 50,000 Twitter followers after quitting 1D!

TOP NEWS

Apparently the move did not bode well with Malik’s international fan following, who reacted negatively to the heartthrob’s decision of leaving One Direction. When Zayn parted ways with his musical mates, the reason he gave was that he wanted to become “a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight.”  However, just days after announcing his decision, a new solo demo from Zayn was leaked online by producer Naughty Boy.

The new song sparked heat and rage, including a fierce reaction from One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson who abused Naughty Boy in a tweet and said that the leak was low of him. But the damage had been done as Zayn lost 50,000 followers on Twitter. Malik had quit following rumors that he had cheated on fiancee Perry Edwards and a picture circulating online, showing the singer getting too cozy with Englishwoman Lauren Richardson. A Swedish model by the name of Martina Olsson also surfaced and alleged that Zayn had cheated on Perry with her and ‘continued to lie about it.’

As the media anticipated news of an impending breakup between the two lovers, Perry and Malik, surprisingly pictures of the two surfaced online being intimate with each other. For now, Zayn seems to have escaped with everything and has dodged all controversies, yet his fans have taken his split from the band in bad taste it seems.

He still commands a massive following on Twitter with over 14.5 million followers. However, it seems he will have to pull off a very impressive solo performance in the near future, if he intends on pleasing his fans who seem disconcerted at 1D’s breakup! Though fans might have resorted to taking sides and venting anger at Zayn, the heartthrob has denied any ill feelings harbored between his ex-colleagues. He had said,”I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world.”
