Zehri named as CM Balochistan for next half of term

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Balochistan chief Nawab Sanaullah Zehri will take over the chief ministership of Balochistan for the next two-and-a-half year, a high-level meeting presided by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif decided on Thursday, ARY News reported.

According to details, the meeting was held at Balochistan House in Islamabad, which was attended by federal ministers, outgoing chief minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and PkMAP chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai.

Nawab Sanaullah Zehri also attended the second half of meeting.

The meeting decided to instate Zehri as CM Balochistan for next two-and-a-half year.

As the news broke, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri’s supporters and PML-N activists started celebrations in Quetta.

Sources told that after the appointment of new CM, the provincial cabinet will also be shuffled and the process is likely to be completed in a week.
