Zoheb Hassan announces comeback on Twitter

LONDON: The man who rocked Pakistan’s popular music scene in the 80s is planning a rockumentary and a video off his first album in decades soon, ARY News reported on Saturday.

Zoheb Hassan, the teenage heartthrob of 80s and a part of brother-sister duo which changed the Pakistani music scene forever is planning a comeback.

Hassan recently took on Twitter to announce the big news that he will be coming up with a rockumentary and then a music video for his fans of past and present.

The tweet said “Releasing very soon now….first the Rockumentary and then the 1st music video off the album, “Always on my Mind””

Earlier in January, Hassan told his fans through Twitter that he has finished working on the video and he will share the preview on his page.  

The brother-sister duo Nazia Hassan and Zoheb Hassan are considered as the pioneer of pop music in Pakistan. Hailing from Karachi, both started their music journey on Sohail Rana’s show ‘Kaliyon Ki Mala’ on PTV but it was the success of their song ‘Disco Deewane’ in India which give him immense success.

Zoheb won some newer fans with his soulful rendition of his classic songs ‘Zara Chehra to Dikhao” and “Dheeray Dheeray”.
