Zulfiqar Mirza gets protective bail from SHC

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court on Monday granted former home minister Sindh Zulfiqar Mirza protective bail till May 6, ARY News reported.

His counsel had filed a petition with the SHC on behalf of Mirza pleading for bail before arrest for him.

Badin police yesterday arrested eight supporters of Zulfiqar Mirza for attacking a police station in Badin and forcing markets in Badin to close down.

According to sources, Mirza agreed to his arrest on certain conditions. He has agreed for his arrest on the condition that he will present his arrest only to DIG Hyderabad Sanaullah Abbasi or SSP Hyderabad Irfan Baloch, sources said.
