Pakistani actor Hania Aamir and filmmaker Saman Kamran have been named in Forbes’ prestigious 30 Under 30 Asia 2026 list in the Entertainment and Sports category.
The annual list, published by Forbes, highlights young achievers under the age of 30 who have made significant contributions in their respective fields across Asia.
Now in its 11th edition, the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list has previously featured several Pakistani names across entertainment, fashion, sports, and the arts.
Hania Aamir is one of Pakistan’s most popular television stars. She recently became the most-followed Pakistani woman on Instagram, surpassing 20 million followers. The actor has built a strong career in television over the past decade with several hit dramas.
Her recent projects include Mere Humsafar, Meri Zindagi Hai Tu, Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum among others. Hania is also set to appear in Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, which is expected to be Netflix’s first original series from Pakistan. Alongside her acting career, she also serves as a UN Women National Goodwill Ambassador for Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Filmmaker Saman Kamran is also known for her impactful storytelling, often focusing on social and environmental issues. Her short film The Bed She Made was the only Pakistani project selected for the Busan International Short Film Festival, where it explored climate change and fertility challenges in Pakistan.
She has also previously worked as an assistant director on Umro Ayyar: A New Beginning.
Last year, Pakistan had no representation in the entertainment category of the list, making this year’s inclusion particularly notable. In previous years, Pakistani names such as Olympic gold medallist Arshad Nadeem, filmmaker Bushra Sultan, designer Zain Ahmad, artist Misha Japanwala, and singer Momina Mustehsan have also been featured.
