Security forces killed 15 terrorists in Tirah Valley

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), about thirty to thirty-five terrorists attacked a checkpost of security forces in Tirah valley.
The security forces repulsed the attack and effectively retaliated. “Security forces seized bodies of ten terrorists besides recovering arms and ammunition from them”, ISPR added.
ISPR further stated that three security personnel sustained injuries in clash with the terrorists.
To clear the militants from semi-autonomous tribal areas bordering Afghanistan, Pakistan Army has launched operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ in July 2014 in the North Waziristan tribal region followed with another offensive against militants in Khyber Agency in October 2014.
