More than 100 shops destroyed by fire in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: More than 100 shops were reduced to ashes by a fire which erupted in Main Landa Bazaar at Saddar's Nautia area here, ARY News reports on Saturday.

Fourteen fire engines arrived at the spot and extinguished the fire. Three persons were also injured when a wall collapsed during the rescue efforts. They were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital for medical care.

Goods worth of lacs of rupees were destroyed by the inferno. Most of the affected shops were of clothes and shoes.
