The incident occurred near Mandi Faiz Ganj when a passenger bus hailing from Quetta to Karachi collided with another bus, coming from Nawabshah, thus killing 11 people.
The deceased persons include two women, five men and two children. Rescue sources told that the injured and the dead were moved to nearby hospitals in Nawabshah.
No official word was released by the police on the accident, however rescue sources cited speeding as reason behind the fatal road mishap.
