293 development schemes to be completed in Karachi by Dec 31

Karachi: Sindh government has released complete funds for around 293 various ongoing development schemes in Karachi, which are expected to be completed by December 31, 2013.

Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah in this regard has directed Commissioner Karachi, Shoaib Ahmad to administer these schemes personally, in which its quality should be the first preference.

The Karachi based schemes particularly include two way fly-over at Ayesha Manzil, another two way fly-over at Daak-Khana, S.M.Taufiq Road and Expansion of Teen Hatti Bridge.

Other projects to be completed before 2014 include rehabilitation and improvisation of streets in Lyari Town, renovation and upgradation of the existing play grounds, revamp of boxing clubs, upgradation of pumps at various water pumps in the city, etc.

A review was done on the ongoing schemes under annual development programs by Chief Minister was physically and financially observed for the progress of ADP schemes for 2013-2014.
