CHAMAN: At least four people were injured in a bomb blast at Chaman’s Mall Road this noon. No fatalities have been reported.
The injured were immediately shifted to Civil Hospital where medics said two of them were in critical condition.
A huge fire erupted in nearby shops following the blast.
After being informed of the explosion, rescue teams and a strong contingent of security forces reached the blast site and began rescue operation to shift the injured to a nearby hospital.
Lately, in a deadliest attack on election campaigning, a suicide bomber killed more than 128 people at an election rally in Balochistan’s Mastung.
It is pertinent to note here that a prominent leader of Awami National Party(ANP) Haroon Bilour lost his life in a suicide blast in Peshawar city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The ANP leader was chairing a corner meeting as a part of his electoral campaign.
