ARY News has obtained a video of the confessional statement of accused Fatima.
Accused woman confessed that she was involved in receiving extortion money from shopkeepers and other traders to forward the money to Saleem Memon for forwarding it to Rizwan alias Pendoo.
Fatima said she was receiving Rs. 8000 from a shopkeeper in Khadda Market, and arrested when receiving extortion money for third time from the trader.
She said in her statement that she was intimidated and forced to involve in the extortion racket. “The two accused had threatened me that they will murder my son if I will refuse to work for them,” Fatima told police in her confessional statement.
Police conducting raids to arrest accused extortionists Rizwan and Saleem Memon.
