ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi has congratulated the nation for voting for a leader who is committed to work for welfare of the commoners.
According to the state-owned wire service, in a message, she expressed her heartfelt joy over the victory of the PTI in the general election, saying Allah Almighty has given the nation a leader who takes care of the rights of the people.
She greeted the widows, the poor and orphans, saying the PTI chief would also safeguard the lives of the citizens of Pakistan.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced results of 730 of 831 national and provincial assemblies’ seats.
According to the ECP, the commission has so far received results of 230 National Assembly seats while it also got results of 500 provincial assemblies’ seats of the four provinces.
It has received 86.8 percent unofficial results of national and provincial assemblies’ constituencies.
Out of the received results of 230 National Assembly seats, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf is having a lead with 107 seats while Pakistan Muslim League (N) is trailing behind with 56 seats, followed by 32 seats secured by the PPP.
