Chicago: For the 10th year in a row, thousands of rubber ducks were ceremoniously dumped into the Chicago River.
Officials say more than 60,000 ducks were dumped into the Chicago River yesterday as part of the Chicago Ducky Derby.
Thousands of onlookers watched as the sea of yellow ducks floated toward the finish line. The fundraiser benefits the Special Olympics.
Each rubber duck represents a donation given to the Special Olympics Illinois. The money raised supports over 23,000 athletes in the program.
