LARKANA: At least three people were shot dead in Larkana on Wednesday, however, motive of the killing is not yet known, ARY News reported.

Police said all the slain persons were labourers by profession and hailed from Bajaur Agency. The cops have registered a case against two unknown assailants under section 302 and 304. Father of one of the slain men, Wahid Gul, had approached the police for registration of the case.

Taking notice of the murder, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah telephoned commissioner and deputy inspector general (DIG) of Larkana and directed them to contact the family of the deceased persons.

He termed the incident ‘extremely shocking’ and said “any person living in the province, whether he is a non-Sindhi, is our brother”.

“Anyone who disturbs the law and order situation by killing innocent people is my enemy,” stated CM Shah. He warned of dealing all such elements with an iron hand. The chief minister said it was sheerly against humanity to kill any one.

Shah said a case be registered under terrorism act against persons involved in the killing. He also sought report from officials concerned on the incident.

He asked DIG Larkana to not allow police a sigh of relief under culprits involved in the barbaric murder were caught.
