President AJK asks youth to remain clear about objective of plebiscite

ISLAMABAD: President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan on Saturday urged Kashmiri youth to remain clear about their objective which was right to self-determination.

“Indian armed forces have been committing countless crimes against humanity in Indian Occupied Kashmir since last 71 years,” Sardar Masood Khan said while addressing ‘All Azad Jammu and Kashmir Inter-Universities Speech Competition’ at Jammu and Kashmir Cell in Islamabad.

He said use of brutal force against unarmed civilians was a shameful act of India.

The president said Indian fundamentalists after Pulwama attack had targeted and attacked Muslims living in India specially the Kashmiris.

He urged the international community to take notice of genocide being committed by India in occupied valley.

Commenting on recent stand-off between Pakistan and India, the president said Pakistan’s response to Indian aggression was responsible and befitting.

Sardar Masood Khan condemned India for detaining the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leaders and banning the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) and the Jamat-e-Islami in the occupied Kashmir.

On March 9, the president of AJ&K Masood Khan had said people of Kashmir were fully prepared to back their armed forces against every Indian aggression at the Line of Control (LoC).

Khan had said this during his visit to Tata Pani Sector (Kotli) along the LoC. He inquired about the well-being of unprovoked Indian firing-hit population.

He paid rich tributes to valiant armed forces of Pakistan for silencing guns of the enemy.
