Federal Minister of Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar on Thursday warned the institutions to stay within their constitutional limits, otherwise, the government knows how to establish the writ, ARY News reported.
He said that the petitions were fixed for hearing in a hasty manner, and two senior judges were not included in the bench. He said that there is a lack of representation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan among the judges of the bench.
Azam Nazeer Tarar claimed that all Supreme Court rules prohibit the Chief Justice from presiding over a bench meanwhile, all the provincial bar councils had unanimously expressed their reservations with the existing bench.
The federal minister apologised to the nation for the appointment of junior judges in the Supreme Court.

Earlier in the day, the National Assembly (NA) passed a resolution against the constitution of the Supreme Court’s (SC) eight-member larger bench on the judicial reforms bill.
The resolution was presented by the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Agha Rafiqullah. It stated that the House rejected the constitution of the SC eight-member larger bench without two senior judges against the judicial reforms law.
The resolution demanded the dissolution of the SC’s larger bench. It added that the parliament is solely authorised for legislation. The House expressed concerns over the Supreme Court’s interference in parliamentary affairs.
