ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday bashed Bilawal Bhutto’s train march ‘Karvan-e-Bhutto’ with a wit laden tweet.

On his official Twitter handle, Chuadhry took aims at Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari while calling Bilawal’s train march a bid to save his corruption accused father.

“From today, the first ‘Abbu Bachao‘ [save father] train march has begun from Karachi. This is the first ever movement launched to provide legal support to the corruption,” the minister criticized PPP’s chairman Bilawal and his father.

Accompanied by a large number of party leaders and workers, the PPP chief boarded a special train at the Karachi Cantonment Railway Station amid tight security earlier today.

Addressing party workers and activists before his departure, Mr Bhutto-Zardari said neither was this journey a protest nor a train march. He added he opted for train journey to Larkana for the upcoming death anniversary of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

The march that began from the Karachi Cantonment Railway Station is expected to reach Larkana on Wednesday night making stopovers at a number of railway stations, including Landhi in Karachi, Jung Shahi in District Thatta, Kotri, Hyderabad, Matiari, Tando Adam, Shahdadpur, Nawabshah.
