LAHORE: Accountability to continue across the board without any discrimination and no NRO will be offered, said Punjab’s Information Minister, Fayyazul Hassan Chohan on Thursday.

Talking to the newsmen outside Punjab Assembly, the minister while turning direction of his cannons towards PML-N, said that the party has turned into a  “private limited company”, adding that Hamza Shehbaz Sharif is busy in covering wrongdoings of his family.

The minister appealed opposition’s lawmakers to rejoin the ongoing session of the assembly, “PML-N is unable to accept Pervez Ellahi as speaker of the Punjab Assembly.”

Taking a jibe at JUI-F Chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Mr Chohan said that “he is convener of the All Pakistan Loot Maar Association”, opposition is gathering under one umbrella just to exert pressure on the incumbent government to stop ongoing accountability process, he continued.

Terming Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Saudi visit successful, the minister said economic situation will improve soon.

Yesterday, Chohan continued to hammer PML-N, said Hamza Shehbaz had compelled the MPAs to stage a sit in against the government.

Criticizing the opposition legislators, Fayazul Hassan Chohan said the PML-N’s legislators have not attending the session since October 19 but marked their attendance just to claim the allowances.

He said PML-N had let the masses down by not taking part in the budget debate for the public welfare but they were fully aware of watching their personal interests.

The minister asked, “Have the voters elected the PML-N parliamentarians for safeguarding their own interests?”
