Official announcement in connection to new PN chief’s appointment has been made. The recommendation for appointment of Admiral Zakaullah was made by the President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz.
Admiral Zakaullah was commissioned in the Pakistan Navy in 1978. He graduated from, Royal Naval Staff College, Britain and National Defence University.
He had also been defence attaché of Pakistan in Qatar.
