The report suggested that the attacker hid approximately eight kilogrammes of explosives and ball bearings in his suicide jacket.
Meanwhile, a First Information Report (FIR) was registered against unknown assailants at the counter terrorism department (CTD) in Mardan last night.
At least 14 people including three police officers and four lawyers were killed and 40 others wounded in a suicide blast outside the district courts in Mardan yesterday.

According to details, a suicide bomber blew himself at the gate of district court Mardan when he was stopped for a security check.
In a closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage obtained by ARY News, the attacker could be seen firing and hurling hand-grenade before blowing himself up.
Following the attack, an emergency was placed at District Headquarters Hospital Mardan yesterday whereas law enforcement agencies also launched a search operation in the area.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had condemned the terror incident in Mardan, stating that the attack would not shatter the country’s resolve in the war against terrorism.
Later, Chief of the Army Staffs (COAS) General Raheel Sharif reached Mardan to inquire about the health of the blast victims.
