In a video message on Wednesday, Ms Mumtaz expressed sorrow over the rumors being circulated on social media after her departure from the country to attend the conference.

“Some elements are waging propaganda that I have been stopped from performing duties following a raid on a company,” she said terming such claims as false and far from reality.
Addressing the masses, Ayesha Mumtaz said that they will soon witness her performing her duties with same zeal upon her return to country.
Earlier, social media reports suggested that Ms Mumtaz was suspended and transferred to Islamabad, following a raid on a factory allegedly owned by a Hamza Shahbaz.
