Alia Bhatt injures herself shooting action sequence in Bulgaria

The young and dynamic actress Alia Bhatt has been quite busy this year. From shooting Gully Boy alongside Ranveer Singh, the ‘Highway’ actress flew Bulgaria to shoot for Brahmastra, but she met an unfortunate incident in the country.

The actress won’t be able to shoot for a while. Recently it has come to light that the Bhatt family’s youngest protégé has injured herself while shooting an action sequence and won’t be able to resume shooting for a couple of weeks.

It is reported that “the team was shooting for a scene when Alia fell and hurt herself. She has injured her right shoulder and arm. There’s a clot in her arm, so she has been advised bed rest.  As a result, the actress will be out of action for a few weeks. She is in a lot of pain. Her right arm is bandaged and held up in a sling, so she can’t exert it or her shoulder for the next 15 days.”

This delay leaves the Brahmastra team in a frenzy as they were to wrap up the shoot in Bulgaria by the end of the month. “In the current scenario, Alia can’t film any stunt sequences. She can only shoot for close-up scenes and the team is checking if they would need any right now,” the reports added.

It seems like Alia is not one to leave her team in turmoil. Despite her injury, she decided to remain on the location and continue with her shooting schedule.
