Alia picks ‘Udta Punjab’ over Farhan’s ‘Rock On’

The young starlet who has the industry running after her, has picked Abishek Chobey’s Udta Punjab over Abhishek Kapoor’s musical sequel of Rock On.

Apparently, Alia was offered both the films Arjun Rampal-Farhna Akhtar starrer Rock On sequel and Shahid Kapoor’s Udta Punjab at the same time, both the films, are also going to roll around the same time in 2015 so Alia had to decide among them.

According to the latest updates the Highway girl has taken ‘Udta Punjabi’ due to the screen space over ‘Rock On’. In this film Alia will be doing the lead role opposite Shahid whilst in Rock On sequel she was offered the role of a band member Luke Kenny.

When Alia was asked about the reason behind the rejection of Rock On, the starlet said , “Shall we just stick to Udta Punjab? I said a big YES to that!”
