KARACHI: Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain has advised party MNAs, MPAs, Senators and every single worker to donate 1-day salary to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of North Wazristan, ARY News reported.
In a statement issued from London secretariat on Monday, MQM Chief directed party members to contribute amount of one-day earning to the fund established for IDPs of the ongoing army-operation against terrorists in North Waziristan.
Altaf Hussain stated that country is passing through a very critical phase of its history as Pakistan Army is fighting against militants to eliminate terrorism and extremism, one of the core issues of the country.
“Besides praying it’s our prime responsibility to contribute practically”, he added.
Altaf Hussain said MQM workers, parliamentarians and senators should initiate the contribution with the donation of their 1-day income for IDPs.
