LOWER DIR: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Siraj ul Haq on Sunday vowed to unite all religious parties on one platform to contest general elections in 2018, ARY News reported.

“The rulers have distorted the shape of Islam and Pakistan. While, I want such a Pakistan where the minorities have complete rights,” he said while addressing a public rally in Lower Dir.

He said the rulers have set up factories and were doing roaring businesses, however the masses were suffering from lack of resources. He said our youth also needed factories and businesses while our kids needed quality education.

Siraj also announced to stage sit-in protest to get rid of “the curse of sood (financial interest)”.

“Without getting rid of financial interest, financial development and purity of soul is not possible, because taking interest is tantamount to announcing war against God and His prophet,” he said adding that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar should also refrain from taking debts.
