Amitabh Bachchan celebrates birthday of young fan suffering from cancer

“Hardika a young girl suffers from cancer and has a wish to meet me .. I comply and we meet .. she is pretty and gentle and moves with an oxygen container,” he wrote on his Tumblr blog.

“It is most difficult to confront the innocence of pain .. and lost hope ..But a brave front, a desire fulfilled a wish completed and a smile for a special day in her life – her birthday makes that moment eternal .. I wish her speedy recovery ..,” he wrote.

Donning clean white shalwar qameez, the ‘Piku’ star can be seen in pictures with delighted Hardika presenting bouquet to her, cutting cake and feeding cake to her.

Amitabh  said: “It is disturbing to describe feelings of such encounters .. and restraint is a natural necessity  .. it is also one that needs brevity .. reassurance and love come prime .. and should always .. And there should also be diminished talk on the medium .. what can one say in such situations.”
