Another accused in Amjad Sabri murder case arrested

Sources said the accused, involved in Sabri’s murder, was arrested on pointing out by the already arrested accused.

“The arrested accused arrived few months back from abroad. Police has confiscated all of his travelling documents,” said the sources.

Name of the second accused has not been yet revealed, neither his arrest has been made public.

On the other hand, IG Sindh Police AD Khawaja has claimed to reach very close to the murderers. He said the assassin gang had been identified and the murderers of Amjad Sabri would soon be nabbed.

Earlier, Imran Siddiqui was arrested in a joint operation conducted by police and intelligence agencies on Saturday.

Sources confirmed that Imran was directly involved in the assassination of Amjad Sabri and has fired at him. He is being held at an undisclosed location where he has revealed the names of his accomplices as well. Police are conducting various raids to arrest them as well.

It is alleged that Sabri was killed after a financial dispute and the failure to pay extortion.
