Another committee to mediate govt-Taliban committees

PESHAWAR: The government has decided to form another committee to solve matters between the existing committees of Taliban and the government committees for peace talks, ARY News reported Sunday.

According to sources, the proposed committee will also be authorized to solve issues pertaining to prisoners.

The matter of exchange of prisoners will also be extended [in a bid to continue peace process], they added.

Besides solving other matters, the new committee will also inspect the nature of prisoners, who are to be released.
