Anti-state elements to be dealt with iron-handedly: IG FC

WARSAK: Inspector General (IG) Frontier Corps (FC), Major General Ghayyur Mahmood has said that FC is making efforts together with police and political administration in order to cope with terrorism in the region and this year prominent results have been achieved in this regard – ARY News reports.

Talking to media after the passing out parade of the FC troops at Warsak Training Center, he said that law and order situation in tribal agencies and border districts, is improving gradually and there is more space for the betterment in the circumstances.

The IG FC expressed his determination that wherever anybody will take a step against the state and the nation, he will be dealt with iron-handedly.

Maj. Gen. Ghayyur Mahmood stressed that the security of life and possession of the people will be insured at any cost.
