Areeba murder case: Tooba sent on remand again

Police on Wednesday produced Tooba before the judicial magistrate. Apart from Areeba’s murder, she is also accused of poisoning a journalist Yousuf Khokhar to death.

Police said that there is resemblance between the two cases and the accused is still to be interrogated in Yousuf murder case.

Officials requested the court to grant seven days’ remand of Tooba, however the court handed a three-day remand of the accused.

The court ordered to produce Tooba before it on March 20.

Earlier to this, Tooba was sent on a six-day remand to jail.
