RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa offered Eid prayer with troops at the Line of Control (LoC), the Inter Services Public Relations said on Monday.
On the occasion, General Qamar Bajwa prayed for prosperity of Pakistan. He also praised morale of troops, their devotion and operational preparedness.

It was reported that the COAS decided to celebrate Eid with simplicity. This decision has been taken by the army chief to express solidarity with the families of victims in view of recent terror attacks and Bahawalpur oil tanker tragedy.
General Bajwa in his address to troops said: “Pak Army stands shoulder to shoulder with victims of terrorism and oil tanker fire”.
“In Sha Allah we will overcome all challenges by staying united and steadfast as a nation. Eid Mubarak,” the COAS stated.
