Court sends Asad Kharal jail on 14-day judicial remand

Kharal, who is allegedly a close aide of the brother of Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal, was produced before a judicial magistrate in sessions court Sukkur on Saturday under tight security.

The court sent the suspect to jail for 14-day judicial remand.

It should be noted that Kharal kept meeting his friends and chatting on his cell phone despite being forbidden by the court room laws.

Asad Kharal was said to be arrested by the law enforcement agencies following a raid near Hyderabad.

Kharal, who is said to be a PPP worker, is accused in various criminal cases including aiding and abetting terrorism. He was earlier believed to have been fled to Dubai, after being freed from the custody of Rangers personnel who had arrested him in Larkana.

The Rangers had conducted a rigorous manhunt for him until he was arrested again.
