In Karachi, Ashoora procession was taken out from Nishtar Park, during which the mourners paid their tribute to the martyrs of Karbala. Upon reaching Tibet Center, participants offered Zohrain prayers. The procession is on its way to imambargah Hussainia Iranian in Kharadar, where a majlis will be held at which the speakers will highlight the sacrifices rendered by Imam Hussain (RA), his family and companions.
The main procession which was taken out from Nisar Haveli in Lahore has reached the Hussainia Hall, which will culminate at Karbala Gamay Shah passing through its traditional routes.
Similarly in Quetta, Ashoora procession was taken out from the Alamdar Road which after passing through different pathways will come to an end at the same place.
In Gujranwala, the first procession was taken out from imambargah Hyderi Road which is heading on its fixed routes under the security buffer of law enforcement agencies (LEAs).
Local administrations have made stern security measures, bomb disposal squad (BDS) and rescue teams are also moving along with the processions.
Traders and devotees have established stalls along the routes of processions, where the mourners of Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions are being served juices and soft drinks as well as Haleem and other dishes as per their strength.
The processions will come to an end after reaching specific destinations, thereafter Majalis-e-Sham-e-Ghariban will be held to elaborate the hardships and sufferings of the martyrs of Karbala and the lesson they left for the humanity.
