Earlier, the FIA submitted the interim charge-sheet for the seventh time along with the death certificate and other key documents after removing all objections raised by the court.
It stated that accused Mohsin Ali had personally killed Imran Farooq in London. The other suspects Moazzam Ali and Khalid Shamim have been declared as accomplices.
It also said that MQM leader Mohammad Anwar consider Imran Farooq a threat to the party after he developed differences with them and was probably working to form a faction.
The court ordered that the interim charge-sheet should be sent to defence lawyers of the accused before the trial commences.
Dr. Imran Farooq lived in self-exile in London from 1999 and on Sep 16, 2010, ‘armed men’ had killed Dr Imran Farooq by stabbing him multiple times and hitting with bricks.
