ATC grants 7-day physical remand of alleged cannibals

BHAKKAR: An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday granted seven days physical remand of two brothers Arif and Farman, who were arrested for allegedly eating human flesh, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
The police earlier today managed to arrest Farman, brother of Arif, on suspicion of cannibalism. The police arrested two brothers after head of a baby found at their house.
Farman and Arif had been found guilty of the same offence in March 2011 and were awarded two year jail term. They were released last year.
One of the two brothers arrested yesterday when police raided their house in a village in Bhakkar district, after neighbours complained of a sickly stench from the house.
The police arrested them with the dead body of a two-year child.
After the find of dead body infuriated people attacked the house of the accused and demolished its walls.
Arif and Farman were produced before an anti-terrorism court today, which granted seven days' physical remand of the two brothers.
