Jal was one of the most popular bands in Pakistan. Atif Aslam, Farhan Saeed and Goher Mumtaz have enjoyed fame and fortune for their talents. However, as much as fans want to see each individual prosper and enchant them time and again with their music, everyone does want to see Jal (Atif Aslam inclusive) back in action. And it did. For one night.
Ali Zafar’s basement was the center of attention, as many showbiz industry’s bigwigs and hotshots were present to enjoy the Pakistan Super League Twenty 20 (PSLT20) after-party. It might have been anyone’s suggestion or spontaneous reaction, however, it did amuse everyone there. Atif surprisingly picked up the guitar and strummed a few notes as Gohar grabbed the mic. Farhan, meanwhile, started drumming to perfection.
