Attacks on security forces will not be tolerated, says Asif

ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister Khwaja Muhammad Asif has stated that the security forces have every right to respond against the attacks by militants, ARY News reports.

In a policy statement, Khwaja Asif stated that several security officials were killed when their convoys were recently attacked in North Waziristan. Many of the attackers were foreign terrorists, he added.

He said that no concessions will be made to the foreign terrorists and the attacks on security forces will not be tolerated.

The Defense Minister further said that the operations against foreign terrorists were a reply to the attacks on security forces.
