He made this statement while speaking to media on late Tuesday.
Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif had dismissed six army officers, including two generals, from service over alleged corruption, thus sparking debates whether civilian leaders would also follow suit.

A day before announcement of action against ‘corrupt’ army officers, the army chief had stated that accountability in all departments was must for progressive and prosperous Pakistan.
Mr. Bajwa, however, rejected media reports that any inquiry was being held against former Karachi corps commander Lt Gen Sajjad Ghani and former Lahore Corps Commander Lt General Naveed Zaman.
He said the army has a system of accountability which is independent in carrying out inquiry in the light of evidence.

The news of action against army officers came as Prime Minister NawazSharif faces pressure over revelations made in Panama Papers linking his family to a series of offshore companies.
Earlier in April, he announced the formation of a commission to investigate the allegations in the documents from Panama-based law firm — Mossack Fonseca — that have exposed how some of the world’s most powerful people secrete their assets offshore.
