Balochistan: 20 swept away in Khuzdar flash floods

Heavy downpour in Balochistan district of Khuzdar disturbed normal life in the region as flash floods swept away 20 people from the central Balochistan district of Khuzdar.

Flood relief teams and local divers have retrieved 14 dead bodies including two children from floodwaters so far.

The efforts are underway to trace remaining six people swept away in flood torrents.
Heavy rainfall made the region inaccessible for rescue teams who tried to access the place for relief efforts.

The reports said that residents of the area were not able to evacuate in time before the flood hit the hilly region.
