Barriers around Musharraf residence removed

The authorities removed barriers around Musharraf residence as a part of a city-wide campaign undertaken by paramilitary force to ease problems facing the citizens.

DG Rangers Sindh had ordered removal of all barriers from city streets last week. The top Rangers official had given three-day deadline in this regard.

In a meeting at Chief Minister House today, it was told that barriers had not been removed from around Bilawal House and Pervez Musharraf residence owing to security reasons.

Meanwhile, barriers have been removed from majority of city areas voluntarily by the citizens.
