LONDON: Spouse of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Kulsoom Nawaz has regained her conscious after remaining into coma for about a month in a London hospital, ARY News reported.
Talking to media, Kulsoom’s son Hussain Nawaz has confirmed that his mother has awaken after a month in coma.
“She has opened her eyes now and my father has visited her,” he said.
Kulsoom Nawaz was put on ventilator on June 14, while undergoing treatment in Harley Street Clinic. Following this, Nawaz and his daughter had held the plan to return to Pakistan in abeyance.
When Avenfield reference verdict was reserved, the former premier had requested to delay the ruling as he wanted it to be announced in his presence. However, now when the verdict is out, he along his daughter has announced to return on Friday to face the punishment.
