MULTAN: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday slammed the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for carrying ideologically same policies that abhorred the masses and favoured the elites

“On the other hand the PPP has always served the people and devised new avenues for peoples’ betterment and upliftment,” he said addressing a workers convention of the party in Multan.

The PPP chairman urged the Jiyalas to spread the party message as the elections were approaching fast and it was time to cater to people, who have suffered most at the hands of the PML-N and the PTI.

“Their policies are same as anti-people and that these two parties only focus on country’s premiership and that is their biggest focus for being in politics,” he said.

He also spoke for the people of Southern Punjab and assured that he would keep visiting them frequently so that he could meet the workers and Jiyalas and convey the message of the Party to the masses.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari criticized the PML-N and said that its government had ruined country’s national institutions. The government had ruined Pakistan Steel and Pakistan International Airline, which once used to be world’s No 1 airliner, he said.

He said the PPP carried land reforms and snatched big lands from the feuds and distributed them among the poor peasants. The PPP was the party of peasants, workers, students and the masses, he added.

Former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, PPP leaders Nayar Hussain Bukhari, Makhdoom Shahabuddin, Natasha Daultana, Haider Zaman Qureshi, Khwaja Rizwan, Shaukat Basra, Abdul Qadir Shaheen and others were also present on this occasion.
