Fawad terms Bilawal’s meeting with Nawaz U-turn of century

ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry on Monday termed Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhuto Zardari’s meeting with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif at Kot Lakhpat jail U-turn of the century.

In the wake of Nawaz Sharif- Ziaul Haq relations, Fawad Chaudhry took to the twitter saying that PPP had compromise on the politics and vision of its founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto today.

 

He also criticized PML-N and the opposite for doing politics over the illness of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. The minister said that the opposition was using Nawaz Sharif’s illness as a political project.

He said that the former prime minister was disappointed of his party’s leadership.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari had demanded the government to ensure the provision of medical facilities to ailing former prime minister Nawaz Sharif of his own choice.

While talking to journalists outside Kot Lakhpat jail, the PPP chairman insisted that it was completely a non-political meeting as he only arrived in to inquire after ailing Nawaz Sharif following speculations circulating around regarding his health condition.

“Every human has some cultural values despite having political differences, while our religion teaches us to inquire about the health of a person who is suffering from a disease.”
