Qalandaria blast kills two Rangers men, injures several

According to details, the blast took place when a Rangers mobile was passing by the Qalandaria Chowk.

Initial reports suggest that it was a suicide blast. The attacker hit the motorcycle into the Rangers mobile, subsequently killing two paramilitary personnel Qasim and Yar Muhammad, and injuring several.

Meanwhile, a heavy contingent of law enforcement agencies (LEAs) surrounded the area and placed security cordons around the site of blast.

Rescue members immediately shifted the injured to Abbasi Shaheed hospital.

Our correspondent, Shah Nawaz Shah informed that three passersby were also injured due to the blast including a woman.

He added that ball bearings and nut-bolts were used in the blast.
