Bollywood congratulates Shashi Kapoor on getting highest award

The Dada Saheb Phelki award is the highest honor bestowed on any person in India for their contribution to the growth and development of Indian film industry. A host of Bollywood celebrities seemed delighted at Shashi’s achievement and did not hesitate in showering him with praise and expressing their delight on the momentous occasion.
Katrina Kaif, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Rishi kapoor were the stars who were ecstatic at Shashi’s achievement. Upon hearing the news, this is how Kat reacted:-
“Huge Congratulations, I think its super well deserved and I am sure he must be very proud and his whole family must be very proud of him,” said Kaif.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui simply stated that Kapoor’s contribution to the Indian film industry was outstanding and extraordinary. Actress Supriya Pathak said,”I would congratulate him for the honour and I cannot express how happy I am. He is a wonderful person and a wonderful actor as well.”
However, the most prominent congratulations came from none other than than Shashi Kapoor’s nephew Rishi Kapoor, who tweeted the following:-

Even though Shashi has numerous awards and wins to his credit, this particular Dada Saheb Phelki award will be his most prized possession. His films which established him as one of the icons of the Indian film industry were Deewaar, Satyam Shivam Sundharam, Kalyug and Kabhie Kabhie.
