Bollywood stars' tweets about India's world cup defeat

Ever since India beat Pakistan in their high profile One Day International encounter in the opening round of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, Bollywood has been following their national cricket side closely. As India won every match, scores of tweets from Indian film industry’s celebrated artists filled Twitter. However, yesterday’s loss to Australia was not well received but Bollywood celebs kept tweeting still, showing their support for Dhoni XI.

Pk star Aamir Khan was thankful to the Indian team for qualifying for the last four and even felicitated the Australian squad for downing his team.

Shah Rukh Khan’s tweet contained a picture of himself, his face held upwards in pride for the way his team played throughout the tournament (the semifinal excluded, of course)

Dabang actress Sonakshi Sinha was smart enough to realize that the hashtag #WontGiveItBack will not come to fruition. Hence, the Bollywood beauty accepted the bitter reality and wished their team luck next time.

Legendary Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor voiced his support for Anushka Sharma, who is being labelled as a ‘distraction’ for Indian batsman Virat Kohli. Rishi used quite strong words for the NH10 star’s detractors!
