KARACHI: A bomb hurled at Mominabad Police Station was defused on late Saturday, ARY News reported.
Unknown armed men riding a motorbike threw a bag at Mominabad Police Station and fled. Sensing danger, police immediately get the police station vacated and jailed criminals were shifted to other locations.
The Bomb Disposal Squad was summoned, which defused the bomb that was connected with ball bearings.
The bomb weighed around 3-4 kilograms. It was connected with a battery and remote control.
Police said they had begun investigation into the terror attempt.
